After suffering a wardrobe malfunction in 2016, BTS' Jungkook narrowly avoided another similar incident recently. The idol nearly lost his buttons and tore open his shirt during his performance at the recent SBS Gayo Daejun event on Dec. 26, 2016.

Jungkook, known as the "golden maknae" of the group, is famous for being one of the most versatile and multi-talented idols in the industry. While he is the youngest member of the boy band, he was recently in the news for his amazing physical transformation and mature appearance, as Koreaboo previously reported.

Jungkook's new look is the result of a lot of hard work and several hours at the gym. The idol's well-toned body was on display during his recent concert performance in the rain on KBS' "Music Bank" on Nov.18. Jungkook has put in a lot of effort to improve his physical appearance, especially his pecs, and his hard work was recently put to the test at the 2016 SBS Gayo Daejun.

During BTS' performance of "Blood, Sweat, and Tears" at the event, Jungkook's clothing became so tight when he flexed his muscles that his buttons nearly came off. The idol's movement caused the shirt to pull due to tension from his biceps and chest muscles.

Being the true professional that he is, Jungkook carried on with the performance like nothing happened and slayed it on stage. This is not the first time Jungkook has had a brush with a wardrobe malfunction. The idol ripped open his shirt during another performance of "Blood, Sweat, and Tears" on SBS' Inkigayo in October 2016.

Jungkook recently grabbed headlines after sharing a preview of his cover of Charlie Puth's hit song, "We Don't Talk Anymore" on his SNS account. The cover instantly went viral and lead to speculation that the BTS member was going to collaborate with Puth after the American singer liked and followed BTS on social media, according to Soompi.
