Former WINNER member Nam Tae Hyun is calling out for people to send in applications for his band. The singer and DJ made his own Tumblr account a few days back and posted a message announcing that he wants to make a band of his own.

According to allkpop, Nam Tae Hyun is recruiting male instrumentalists that can play piano, guitar, drum or bass. "Please include a short introduction, a clip of you playing your instrument, and a photo (these three are required)," the post indicates. He also suggests applicants to perform one of his songs on his SoundCloud.

Nam Tae Hyun left WINNER and YG Entertainment on Nov. 18, 2016, and prior to his exit, he was on indefinite hiatus because of his mental health condition and was said to be seeking treatment for it.

"After lengthy discussions with Nam Tae Hyun it was judged that it would be difficult for him to continue activities through WINNER," Soompi quoted a representative from YG as saying about his contract termination.

The representative added that the decision was made after a lengthy discussion with Nam Tae Hyun, YG Entertainment and the members of WINNER. It was said that the members prioritized Nam Tae Hyun's health and recovery above all else and hopes for his recovery. Nam Tae Hyun's psychological issue is something he reportedly has been dealing with ever since he was young.

YG Entertainment also said that WINNER and the agency will continue to support Nam Tae Hyun in his future endeavors. No new member, however, will be added to WINNER. The group is preparing for a comeback this year, which will be their first activity as a four-member group.

Weeks after he left the agency, Nam Tae Hyun was spotted performing as a DJ in Seoul's posh Gangnam district. Witnesses said that a lot of people came to see Nam Tae Hyun perform. They also said that the signer looked very healthy and was all smiles at the event.

"He looked really healthy. He had a bright smile on the entire time he was on stage. He acted so composed on stage that he looked like a veteran DJ," sources said.
