Struggling club ACF Fiorentina (7-5-6, 27 points) will try to halt a three-game winless streak as they square off with defending champions and current league leaders Juventus FC (15-3-0, 45 points) in a 2016-2017 Serie A season match at the Artemio Franchi Stadium on Sunday, Jan. 15.

Fiorentina has been winless in four of their last six matches, including their ongoing three straight, to remain in the ninth place in the Serie A overall standings. The team is now nine points below fifth-running team AC Milan, who temporarily holds the second and final Europa League qualifying berth for next season.

Viola's Jan. 8 match at the Adriatico Stadium with cellar-dwellers Pescara was postponed due to heavy snow.

Fiorentina's last fixture was a 3-3 draw with powerhouse club Napoli also at their home ground of Artemio Franchi Stadium on Dec. 22, as per Daily Mail Online.

Napoli forward Lorenzo Insigne scored the only goal in the first half to give Partenopei a one-point advantage at the break.

Italian winger Federico Bernardeschi was able to level the count six minutes after the restart but German forward Dries Mertens gave the lead back to the visitors in the 68th minute.

Bernardeschi netted another equalizer just a minute later before teammate Mauro Zarate gave Fiorentina a 3-2 lead with a goal in the 82nd.

However, Napoli Manolo Gabbiadini was able to equalize the match once more in injury time to salvage the draw.

Meanwhile, Juventus is on a four-game winning streak after their upset loss to Genoa back in November. They are still on top of the Italian top flight table, four points ahead of closest pursuers AS Roma.

The Old Lady romped Bologna, 3-0, during their most recent match held at the Juventus Stadium last Sunday, Goal reported.

Gonzalo Higuaín scored a brace in the seventh and 54th minutes while Paulo Dybala netted one in the 41st to complete the three-goal haul of head coach Massimiliano Allegri's squad.
