As "Goblin" heads to its penultimate episode, beloved characters are set to face a difficult time following Shin's (Gong Yoo) disappearance. Latest spoiler news teased of Eun Tak's (Kim Go Eun) suffering in the tvN fantasy drama's upcoming episode 14.

"Goblin" episode 13 ended with the fulfillment of Shin's prophesied death after he forced Eun Tak to remove the sword from his chest which he used to defeat the evil eunuch ghost (Kim Byung Chul). Despite Eun Tak trying her best to hold onto the goblin, Shin's body turned into fiery ashes that disintegrated in the wind.

In the upcoming "Goblin" episode 14, viewers will see a devastated Eun Tak who appears to have lost her memories of Shin. Several scenes in the recently released teaser clip, posted on tvN's Facebook page, featured Eun Tak sobbing uncontrollably and wondering if she may have forgotten someone that made her feel extreme sadness.

In a voice-over, Eun Tak questions whether she forgot a person's face or a promise that left her feeling bereft and broken hearted. The hopeless situation is enough to drive the goblin bride to desperation, as she earnestly prayed for someone to save her.

At this time, it is still unclear if the Grim Reaper erased Eun Tak's memories of the goblin or whether the memory loss is a consequence of Shin's disappearance. However, Eun Tak appears to still possess several items from Shin such as the "fate" necklace and the poetry book that she gave to the goblin, as shown in the preview clip.

Other interesting scenes included a quick shot of a teary-eyed Grim Reaper and Sunny with a shocked expression on her face as she turns to welcome someone in her restaurant. It also appears that there will be a time-jump in the upcoming episode given Eun Tak's shorter hairstyle that made her look more mature.

Meanwhile, "Goblin" continue to post impressive TV ratings with episode 13 gaining a viewership level of 14.25 percent nationwide, according to Nielsen Korea, as cited by OSEN. In Seoul, the drama's viewership shares reached 16.52 percent.

In other news, the tvN fantasy series also retained its top spot on a TV popularity chart and even bested "Legend of the Blue Sea," as well as "Hwarang." "Goblin" scored 294.4 points on the Content Power Index for the first week of January, according to CJ E&M Entertainment and Nielsen Korea, as cited by Yonhap News.
