The multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) title from developer Blizzard Entertainment "Heroes of the Storm" will be added with more characters coming from the game maker's rich mythos of combatants. Reports suggest that another assassin will be included in the mix alongside other heroes complete with other add-ons and mounts.
"Warcraft's lady assassin Valeera Sanguinar, who holds the title Shadow of the Uncrowned, will be one of the inductees in "Heroes of the Storm's" long roster of fighters. One of her nifty moves that she will showcase in the game is "Vanish" that enable her to go on stealth mode. In doing such, her skill set and moves will also change to effectively take down other opponents.
Other special moves of the new assassin include Eviscerate, Cloak of Shadows, Sinister Strike, and Blade Flurry. The new hero is now playable on the game's public test realm (PTR) and players can also check some of her new skins as part of the update.
For those who are unaware, Valeera will be the fifth assassin to have graced the MOBA game. Moreover, her skills and barrage of attacks are said to have already been boasted by another character Zeratul, who is also a melee assassin hero from the "StarCraft" lore, according to Destructoid.
As aforementioned, mounts will also be included in the new content. A new mount that caught most of the players' attention is the behemoth rooster that will come in two iterations namely the Lunar Rooster and the Golden Rooster in celebration of the upcoming Lunar New Year.
Players are subject to a so-called "Rooster Race" at the start of every match. At the first instance they join the said mini-game, players will automatically be given 200 worth of gold that can be used for future purchases. Upon completion of all of its 25 races, players will be given an image of a rooster and the Lunar Rooster itself.
Meanwhile, the gold variant can be bought with a specified gold amount and the said event will run from Jan. 24 until Feb. 14, Game Spot has learned. Here is a video about the new update that will be heading towards "Heroes of the Storm:"
