Struggling clubs Delfino Pescara (1-12-6, 9 points) and US Sassuolo Calcio (6-11-3, 21 points) are set to clash in a 2016-2017 Serie A season match on Sunday, Jan. 22 at the Adriatico Stadium.

Pescara, last season's fourth-place finishers in the Serie B, has been struggling all season in the Italian top flight as they were able to earn only one win so far in 19 games. The team is in the bottom of the 20-team league table at the moment.

Antonino Ragusa doubled the lead in the 24th minute before Matri scored another goal in the 66th to make it a 3-1 count. Italian striker Matteo Politano netted in the 83rd to finalize the count.
Sassuolo is now in the 16th place in the overall standings.
