"Dance Moms" Season 7, episode 9 will see ALDC coach Abby Lee Miller giving the moms what they want: a competition for Brynn Rumfallo.

In the previous episodes, the moms have noted how Miller is playing favorites once again. Now that Maddie Ziegler is no longer part of ALDC and the hit Lifetime reality TV show, Miller has been on the lookout for a dancer who could also act as the group's leader.

Nia Frazier's mom, Holly, told the producers in episode 8 that she is disappointed with Miller's decision to not put Nia at the top of the pyramid. After all, the group number that won the previous week was led by her daughter. To make things worse, Miller has been putting Brynn in the spotlight and giving her opportunities to lead the group, but this is not something that she wants to do.

In "Battle of the Blondes," Miller will finally see whether or not Brynn can step up her game when she invites 14-year-old Jane Dickson to perform against her at an upcoming competition. Dickson auditioned to be part of "Dance Moms" Season 6, but she did not make the cut.

According to the show's spoiler site, Brynn will rise to the occasion with her contemporary routine, "Botched," that ranked first in the teen division. Unfortunately, the number landed in the third place overall. There is no information on Dickson's solo, but she will be part of the group routine, "Blush and Bashful," that will rank ALDC first in the teen division and overall.

Meanwhile, the Mini Elites Lilliana Ketchman and Maesi Caes will also performing a solo number. In episode 8, Lilliana impressed the crowd with her acrobatic routine that ranked her first in the mini division and overall. Next week, she will receive the same ranking for her "Route 66" open routine. Maesi's hip-hop routine, "I'm Alive," will rank her first in the junior division and second overall.

"Dance Moms" Season 7, episode 9 will air on Lifetime on Tuesday, Jan. 24 at 9 p.m. EST.
