K-pop artist Dara Park opens up in a sit down interview on JTBC's "Talking Tree". The episode which will air on Jan. 25 will also reveal more about her past life, thoughts on the disbandment of her group 2NE1 and future plans.

An allkpop article reported Dara shot her sit down interview with Seo Jang Hoon for "Talking Tree" in a café in Seoul last Jan. 18. According to the K-pop news website, this was the first time Dara had an interaction with the public since her group 2NE1 announced its disbandment last November.

Moreover, Korea Portal learned that Dara will also share about her past life in the Philippines, as a former 2NE1 member and future plans in the said interview.

The article revealed her feelings and how she knew 2NE1's fans perception of her being the "least talented" in the group and popular because of her looks. "She said she felt that she was the least talented and her role was a decorative one. She said she was aware that the public kind of had that image about her as well," Korea Portal cited a fan who attended the event.

The fan also tweeted about Dara naming two instances when she felt "her lack of talent". According to the fan's tweet, "the first one happened shortly after 2NE1's debut and when they appeared on 'Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook' where the host complimented Minzy's dancing talent, Park Bom's singing talent, CL's rapping talent and Dara for her looks."

In addition, she also spoke about 2NE1 disbandment. Although this may be her first interview about it, this was not the first time she aired her sentiments about the issue. A few days after the group's agency YG Entertainment confirmed their disbandment, she reached to 2NE1 fans known as Blackjacks through a hearfelt handwritten note which she posted on her Instandram account.

Dara penned this note in Korean which was translated in English in a report by ABS-CBN, "The announcement was very painful to ALL of us, but the past seven years has been filled with good and wonderful memories I will treasure forever. We - CL, Bom, Minzy, and I - will always be 2NE1," she said.

Last Jan. 5, 2NE1's agency YG Entertainment announced that the group will release a final track before the girls go on separate ways. According to an article by Billboard, the track "Good Bye" will be available on Jan. 20 and will be the group's new music since their last album "Crush" was released.

2NE1 which debuted on 2009 was known for the chart-topping hits such as "Can't Nobody", "I Am The Best", "I Love You" and "Lonely". The group were together for seven years with individual members like CL and Minzy being recognized as solo artists, Billboard reported.
