Samsung has released a new iteration on its entry-level segment smartphones under the name Galaxy J2 Ace, which packs impressive specs in low-budget price.

The smartphone was launched in India, and is pegged at a price of Rs 8,490. The device is available in Gold, Black and Silver color options. According to The Mobile Indian, the Samsung Galaxy J2 Ace was recently spotted on an online re-seller website under the "Coming Soon" section, along with its pricing and full specifications.

Specs-wise, the Samsung Galaxy J2 Ace will sport a 5-inch qHD display 960 x 540 PLS TFT display. In its internal chassis, the smartphone will carry a quad-core MediaTek MT6737T processor clocked at a speed of 1.4 GHz, while coupled with 1.5GB of RAM and Mali-T720 GPU.

The device will have an internal storage of 8GB onboard, which can be further expanded up to 265GB via microSD card. Its software runs an Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system with TouchWiz UI on top of it.

On the camera front, the Galaxy J2 Ace offers an 8-megapixel camera sensor with LED flash and f/2.2 aperture that can record 720p multimedia videos. In its front camera, a 5-megapixel will be included with LED flash for selfie lovers.

Its connectivity options bring 4G VoLTE+ VoLTE HD (voice calling), Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS, and A-GPS. Other features in the Samsung Galaxy J2 Ace offer dual SIM support, GLONASS with Google Maps, Accelerometer, Gyro Sensor, and Geomagnetic Sensor.

The smartphone houses a 2600 mAh Li-ion removable battery, which the company claims could beef up 12 hours of talk-time on 3G network. The handset measures 132.6 mm x 69.3 mm x 8.9 mm and weighs 131 grams.

As with the previous Galaxy J phones, the Galaxy J2 Ace also include S Power Planning, Ultra Data Saving, and the S Bike Mode.

According to Phone Radar, the handset is already available in major outlets in India and will be competing against the likes of Xiaomi Note 3, Xiaomi Redmi 2 Prime, Swipe Elite Plus, Lenovo Vibe K5, Asus Zenfone 2 Laser, Honor 4X and few other devices carrying similar specifications.
