Kevin Owens is the current WWE Universal Champion and one of the biggest stars in all of professional wrestling. He recently held a press conference to promote his upcoming title defense against former WWE world heavyweight champion Roman Reigns at the 2017 Royal Rumble.

During the event, Owens had some choice words to say regarding certain topics such as his view on Goldberg as well as his potential WrestleMania 33 matchup with the Undertaker. The latter will be highly possible if he is able to maintain his coveted title against Reigns in a match wherein Chris Jericho, who often interferes and helps Owens in his matches, will be suspended above the rafters inside a shark cage.

For starters, he claims that he would be comfortable putting his title on the line against whoever would win among the 30 participants at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view this Jan. 29. It is worth noting that the Undertaker won this contest back in 2007 and will be taking part in it for the first time since its 2009 edition. Betting odds suggest that the Undertaker is currently one of the favorites to win the rumble, according to Forbes.

Owens added that he also would not mind facing former mixed martial artist and current WWE NXT champion Shinsuke Nakamura with the Universal championship on the line. Another possible challenger for Owens' title is its inaugural holder Finn Balor, who is currently out of action nursing a shoulder injury. A match against Nakamura would be a good way to move up to the main roster, while a match against Balor would be perfect for his return.

Owens also had some choice words regarding semi-retired professional wrestler Goldberg. Goldberg was a key figure for one of the WWE's promotional rivals, WCW, back in the day. He also had a brief stint plying his trade for the WWE back in the early 2000s.

"I was never a WCW fan growing up so I was never a Goldberg fan at all - and I've told him that," Owens told Sky Sports in an interview. Owens added that Goldberg was the enemy of the WWE, which was the wrestling promotion he supported while growing up. He also claimed that Goldberg was merely a wrestler who was stealing "Stone Cold" Steve Austin's look to gain popularity.
