Irish actor Jamie Dornan, 34, is set to reprise his role as Christian Grey, a billionaire entrepreneur who practices BDSM, in "Fifty Shades Darker" and "Fifty Shades Freed." The former will be released on Feb. 10 while the latter is set to hit theaters on Feb. 9, 2018.

Dornan is gracing the cover of February 2017 edition of GQ Australia. In an interview with the magazine, the actor was asked about BDSM, which is featured in the story of "Fifty Shades Darker."

"It doesn't float my boat," Dornan replied. "I've always been open-minded and liberal. I'd never judge anyone's sexual preference."

The actor pointed out that there is a million different ways for people to please themselves sexually. For him, whatever gets people off is entirely up to them.

It appears that Dornan and Grey are different not only in terms of sexual experiences. According to the actor, all his mates are easygoing and quick to laugh so Grey is not the kind of person he would get along with.

For the "Fifty Shades Darker" role, Dornan visited the BDSM world. He told Glamour that one rainy evening, he kissed his wife Amelia Warner and their baby Phoebe Dornan good night and "went to watch a dominant-submissive session in a dungeon."

"Fifty Shades Darker" also stars Dakota Johnson as Anastasia Steele, Bella Heathcote as Leila Williams, Tyler Hoechlin as Boyce Fox, Kim Basinger as Elena Lincoln, Rita Ora as Mia Grey, Max Martini as Jason Taylor, Jennifer Ehle as Carla Wilks, Luke Grimes as Elliot Grey and Marcia Gay Harden as Grace Trevelyan-Grey.  Eric Johnson, Eloise Mumford, Lee Majdoub, Fay Masterson, Brant Daugherty, Hugh Dancy, Victor Rasuk and Robinne Lee are also in the cast.

Directed by James Foley, "Fifty Shades Darker" is written by Niall Leonard based on E. L. James' novel. Here is a trailer of the upcoming sequel:
