The Honor 6X is one of the best midrange smartphones that comes with a dual rear camera. The Coolpad Cool1 is its only competitor that also features a dual rear camera and is available within the same price range. Design and Display

The Honor 6X and Coolpad Cool1 both feature unibody metal design. The Honor 6X measures 150.9 x 76.2 x 8.2 mm and it weighs 162 grams whereas the Cool1 measures 152 x 74.8 x 8.2 mm and its weight is 167 grams. The Cool1 comes in color choices like Gold, Silver and Rose Gold whereas the Honor 6X is available in color options such as Gray, Gold and Silver.

Both the smartphones feature 5.5-inch full HD IPS screen. The screen-to-body ratio available on Honor 6X is 71.8 percent whereas Cool1 delivers a better ratio of 73.3 percent.

Chipset, RAM and Storage

The Kirin 655 chipset manufactured by Huawei powers the Honor 6X. It includes four cores of Cortex A53 working at 2.1 GHz and another four cores of Cortex A53 running at 1.7 GHz. The SoC also includes Mali-T830MP2 graphics. It features 4 GB of RAM for its 32 GB and 64 GB storage models. It supports up to 256 GB of microSD card on the second SIM slot of the hybrid SIM slot.

The Cool1 is one of the first dual rear camera smartphones with Rs. 13,999 pricing.

The Cool1 features Snapdragon 652 SoC under its hood that includes four cores of Cortex A53 with processing speeds of 1.2 GHz and four cores of Cortex A72 running at 1.2 GHz. The SoC also includes Adreno 510 graphics. Its 32 GB variant of Cool1 comes with 4 GB of RAM. It does not feature a microSD card slot.

Camera, Software and Other Features

There is a 13-megapixel dual camera setup on Coolpad Cool1 that is enabled with a dual-LED flash. The Honor 6X's LED flash enabled dual camera setup includes a primary camera of 12-megapixel and a secondary camera of 2-megapixel. Both the smartphones can shoot SLR-like photos with bokeh effect. According to camera comparison done by BGR, the Honor 6X is able to snap better photos with sufficient details.

Both the smartphones feature 8-megapixel selfie snapper. The Cool1 comes loaded with Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. The Honor 6X is shipped with Marshmallow and is expected to receive Nougat update in the near future.

The Cool1 comes with a USB Type-C port and a fingerprint reader. The Honor 6X lacks a USB Type-C port, but it features a fingerprint scanner. A Wi-Fi repeater available on Honor 6X can connect to a Wi-Fi modem and then itself function like a modem by relaying the connection to four additional devices, Guiding Tech reported.

Battery and Price

The Honor 6X comes with a battery of 4,000 mAh whereas the Honor 6X is packed with a 3,340 mAh battery. Both the batteries offer fast charging capabilities.

The 32 GB Honor 6X is available for Rs. 12,999 whereas the same storage model of Cool1 costs Rs. 13,999
