Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 specs, price, and release were warmly welcome by consumers in India. The company was able to sell 250,000 units during its first flash sale.


Xiaomi's latest flagship offering was vastly speculated before its release. As a result of the high anticipation for the said smartphone, the device was sold out in just 10 minutes, according to GSM Arena. According to the company, the first sale of Xiaomi's latest Note 4 has exceeded the first sale of Redmi 3S by three times and Redmi Note 3 by five times.

As seen by experts, one of the reasons behind the success of the first sale of Xiaomi's Note 4 were the significant changes made by the company. Although the design still resembles that of the Chinese version of the mobile, the internal setup of the new Note 4 now boasts of a Qualcomm's Snapdragon 625, instead of the MediaTek Helio X20 SoC, according to Anand Tech.

The significant changes made to the device were associated with its anticipated global release. Consumers wanting to purchase Xiaomi's latest Note 4, RAM options starts from 2GB down to 4GB, with a minimum of 32GB storage. Similar to its Chinese version, the latest release outside China also comes with a Non-removable Li-Po 4100 mAh battery, 13 MP dual LED flash f/2.0 aperture rear camera, and 5 MP, f/2.0 front camera.

Furthermore, Redmi Note 4 remained the same in terms of its 5.5 inch screen display, which comes with metallic unibody chassis. In terms of color of the device, the smartphone which was introduced by Hugo Barra to the Indian market before he left the company, comes with matte black, matte gold and matte gray finish. The overall package of Xiaomi's latest Note 4 costs $146 to $200 depending on the memory and storage capacity.
