Fairy Tail chapter 519 could easily go down as one of the most tear-jerking issues ever, as the mother vs. daughter showdown between Irene Belserion and Erza seems to be reaching its conclusion.
As we all know by now, Erza will have to save everybody from impending danger by stopping a meteor summoned by her mother Irene, who has now unleashed her Dragon form to increase enchanting power. The only problem is Erza has one good limb to pull it off, and Irene herself believes the probability of her daughter stopping the meteor and end up alive isn't that high.
For that, here are the 3 biggest questions ahead of Fairy Tail Chapter 519:
Will Erza Pull It Off?
No doubt Erza Scarlet is one of the strongest characters in the Fairy Tail universe. The rightful successor to Makarov's throne as Fairy Tail guild master proved to everybody time and time again that she's a bad chick to mess with.
However, the million dollar question here is can she stop that huge meteor heading towards them. I bet the destructive power of Irene's meteor magic which is probably 10 times more powerful than Jellal's Heavenly body magic - the Grand Chariot.
Will Irene Have Change of Heart?
At first, the Erza vs. Irene battle looked a bit predictable. We all know these two mages will try to eliminate each other because their respective mindset simply contradicts the other. And you know what?
It is predictable. Despite Irene showing how cold she could become towards her only daughter, the first Dragon Slayer is already exhibiting signs of being a human, heck a mother for Erza.
In Chapter 518, Irene is visibly moved by Erza's effort to stop the meteor she summoned despite knowing it could be her last act. A snowball of concern that could avalanche into an emotional reconciliation between mother and daughter.
Will We Witness The Power of Love?
Love conquers all is a typical theme in any Shounen manga series, and the same can be applied in Fairy Tail. Realizing that she still loves her own flesh and blood, Irene will have no choice but to help her daughter in her attempt to fend off the meteor. And probably, we can see Irene sacrificing her life to repent for her sins.
