The makers of "The Big Bang Theory" have managed to leave the audience awestruck once again, this time with some of the biggest secrets regarding the show. The major one among them being that all the characters are based on real life people, Sheldon and Leonard have actually been taken from the name of legendary TV producer Sheldon Leonard. Furthermore, the little Jewish guy, Howard Wolowitz's character is an inspiration from someone the creator of the show worked with on computers.

It has also been remarked that Theremin which is probably the most difficult instrument to play is actually played by Parson, who plays Sheldon, in all his scenes. Besides, it is a great time to get an admission in California Institute of technology for it has also been remarked that the staff and students of CalTech attend a huge proportion of the filming of the show.

The nerdy Sheldon Cooper, who is a die hard "Star Trek" fan in the show, hasn't even seen even a single episode of the series in real life, nor has he enlightened himself with the episodes of "Dr. Who". After being honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, he thanked his friends and family for all the support and best wishes that they have showered on him, as reported by Contact Music.

Having talked about the men, it's time to talk about the leading ladies. Amy Farah Fowler played by Mayim Blalik has a doctorate degree in Neuroscience. This makes her the only actor with an actual degree on the show. Furthermore, according to sources, in the initial draft of the show, there was no Penny rather a Katie who was removed following negative reviews from the audience and Cuoco was then cast to play Penny.

Having saved the best for the last, as with all the incredibly famous shows, BBT was reported to have been copied as "The Theorists" in Belarus. Much to the dismay of the makers, the actors all quit upon discovering the source of the show.
