The "Overwatch" 3v3 mode has suffered from major technical issues upon its introduction, such as Mei's ice wall exploit. However, another big glitch is discovered, this time with D.va.

According to the players in the official Blizzard forums, the Year of the Rooster update for "Overwatch" might have inadvertently caused the D.va glitch. Basically, whenever her mech is destroyed, it will send her flying off the map.

The video below shows how the glitch works. As can be seen in it, Roadhog was able to destroy D.va's mech, flinging her off to a texture-less version of the map, seemingly floating under it. The main difference of this glitch from the Mei exploit is that the mech-less D.va can still be attacked, but the lack of texture makes it difficult for her to return fire.

In response to this, Blizzard software engineer Bill Warnecke said in another Blizzard forum thread that the servers will receive a hotfix for the bug. With this, it is most likely that the company was able to successfully deal with it.

However, since "Overwatch" now has a combined player base of more than 25 million, it is unsurprising for bugs to get reported really fast. It also gives a lot of leeway for bugs to turn up due to the server load, and as such it is expected for more glitches to come in the future.

Another possible reason behind the continued appearance of various bugs and glitches is the fact that the "Overwatch" game's rate of update is really fast. As of now, there are plans for buffing Bastion, as well as making changes to both Symmetra and Torbjorn.

For the game itself, Blizzard is also preparing to add a replay-saving feature for Overwatch, which could introduce a bunch of problems. Regardless, "Overwatch" still remains to be one of the top games in the PC, PS4, and Xbox One up to date.
