Elon Musk is out trying to rally team Tesla, due to some not very good news about China market and to let everyone see that electric cars are of great use to even race on a frozen lake. Tesla's CEO, Elon Musk, disclosed that their Model S is a bad-ass when raced on ice.

Musk tweeted on Wednesday saying that Tesla's Model S is currently in a drag race against a snowmobile on an icy lake in Norway (no tire chains or studs), according to Scoopnext.

The entire race video can be seen on the above link, a Norwegian men's magazine.  It showed there that the Lynx has speeding-up capabilities that aren't far off those of the Tesla P85D.

The video shows Tesla's P85D Model S is racing across the iced lake of Tisleia in Norway without anything connected to the tires to keep it from slipping away on the thin layer of ice that covers the entire terrain. The Model S is racing against the Scandinavian made Lynx Boondocker snowmobile.

Norway accepts Tesla's latest showcase of their products. The country offers plenty of incentives to buy electric cars, such as free charging, less tax and bus-lane and toll-free driving, making it one of the biggest markets for the company, according to Market Watch.

The latest rate of the mentioned cars is $105,000 P85D Model S, and Tesla was able to succeed in taking the waiting time down to 20 days.
