Watford has been reeling as of late with five winless performances in their last six games. The team is settled in the 13th place in the overall standings at the moment, eight points above the bottom three relegation zone and tied on points with Southampton but has a lesser goal differential.

The Hornets have snapped a five-game winless slide, though, after pulling off an impressive 2-1 upset over title contenders Arsenal on the road at the Emirates Stadium last Tuesday, as per the Telegraph.

Head coach Walter Mazzarri's squad netted two early goals during the contest to take control right from the kickoff as they held the Gunners to only one goal throughout the match.

Younes Kaboul broke the deadlock in the 10th minute before team captain Troy Deeney doubled the lead just three minutes later, giving the visitors an early 2-0 advantage.

Arsenal was able to score a consolation goal in the 58th courtesy of Nigerian forward Alex Iwobi, but it was the closest the hosts could come against an inspired Watford XI.

Meanwhile, Burnley has been inconsistent these days, alternating losing and winning in their past four contests.

The Clarets are coming off a 1-0 win over defending champions Leicester City also last Tuesday in a match held at their home ground of Turf Moor, Daily Mail Online reported.

Substitute striker Sam Vokes provided the winning goal for head coach Sean Dyche's side with three minutes left before full-time to snatch the win and three points away from the Foxes.

Burnley is now in the 10th spot of the league table, 10 points above the bottom three relegation zone.
