The Lenovo Tab3 8 Plus, with model number TP-8723F, has recently appeared in benchmarking website Geekbench that leaked the supposed specs of the tablet. 

Lenovo Tab3 8 Plus comes with an 8-inch full HD screen having a pixel resolution of 1920 x 1200, which is an upgrade screen display from Lenovo Tab3 8's 1,280 x 800 pixels resolution. Similar to its predecessor, the Tab3 8 Plus will also feature with an option of a microSD card allowing the users to expand the memory.

According to the Tech Beast, the Lenovo Tab3 8 Plus will be powered by an octa-core 2.0 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor that comes with 3 GB of RAM and a built-in 16 GB storage. It will run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system out of the box.

Dimensionally, it measures 209.5 x 123.5 x 8.6 millimeters and weighs 320 grams. The chassis comes with a translucent and pearl like finish. 

The tablet is also IP52 certified, which means it is dust and water resistance-proof. According to Phone Arena, when the tablet is tilted at an angle of 15 degrees from the normal position water causes no harm on the tablet's system.

In terms of photography, Lenovo's new tablet is equipped with an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel "selfie camera."  It comes with a 4,250 mAh battery that runs up to nine hours of battery life on a single charge. It also has a Dolby Atmos stereo speakers, which is a common feature found on most Lenovo devices.

Lenovo's new tablet will be offering in two variants the Wi-fi only device while the other model will have 4G Long Term Evolution connectivity. It will also be available in two colors, silver and blue.

The pricing details of the Lenovo Tab3 8 Plus is currently not available, but the device is expected slightly higher than the previous Lenovo Tab 3 8. Many reports suggested that the tablet will be introduced at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona later this month.
