Ubisoft has announced the second Operator for the new DLC expansion of "Rainbow Six Siege." The upcoming DLC, "Operation Velvet Shell," will have Spanish Operators that possess formidable capabilities that make them stand out from all the others released beforehand.

The new teaser trailer gives insight to Mira's capabilities. The clip showed Mira using a large tool which she placed in a reinforced wall. It then expanded and ended up exploding a large section of the wall.

Mira's gadget appears to put a piece of glass inside the freshly made hole, possibly a one-way looking glass. The gadget's main purpose is not yet confirmed, but with Mira saying "Let me see your pretty faces," the looking glass speculation is its most likely use.

According to Game Rant, the reveal of Mira'sr capabilities made her a fairly controversial character since the fan base of "Rainbow Six Siege" is arguing about her role. Her one-way glass could provide valuable information about enemy locations as well as sight advantage on certain rooms to locate hidden players and objectives.

Mira was first mentioned back in the Mid-Season reinforcements patch notes. According to the official "Rainbow Six Siege" website, the updated shield used by Tachanka is engineered by Elena "Mira" Alvarez Del Manzan, which is accompanied by an artist drawing to show her appearance. Coupled with the teaser video, it is now confirmed that it is the same individual.

"Operation Velvet Shell" is scheduled to be revealed in its entirety on Feb. 5 and released on Feb. 7. Aside from the new operators Mira and Jackal, the DLC expansion pack will also feature a new map named Coastline, set on a popular nightclub in the town of Ibiza.

The pack will also feature bug fixes and game improvements as well. Ubisoft has yet to confirm about the full details of the upcoming DLC pack.

"Rainbow Six Siege" is available for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Here is the teaser trailer for Mira:
