Samsung Galaxy S8 specs, price and release date were the subjects of speculation in the past weeks. However, speculations may have already ended with the latest leaked details confirming the price point and significant features of Samsung's flagship phone.

Galaxy S8 have been at the center of speculations after it was reported that the said device will not be present at the upcoming Mobile World Congress. Many individuals and experts claimed that major overhaul might have caused the delay of Galaxy S8 launching this year. Rather than answering directly the rumors about the delay, Samsung instead assured of a better, safer and very innovative flagship phone coming this year.

As of the current writing, latest leaked information claimed that Galaxy S8 will come with camera with Dual ADC. This particular camera update will enable better color depth, according to GSM Arena. Furthermore, in terms of its RAM, the upcoming Galaxy S8 will be equipped with 6GB of RAM for the South Korean & Chinese market, while an optional 4GB of RAM would still be available for other countries.

As for its price, the latest leaked info confirmed that the upcoming Galaxy S8 for the Asian market will be CNY 6,088 or approximately $885 for the 64GB storage, while the 128GB storage capacity is priced at $900 price point. While the price for the European market and the rest of the world were not indicated in the latest leak, earlier rumors likewise suggested that it would be around the $1000 price range.

Apart from the aforementioned details, the repositioning of the fingerprint sensor of the upcoming Samsung flagship device is to be expected as well, according to Forbes. The said function of the device will be placed at the top of the phone beside the rear camera.

To go along with the said change, famous leaker Evan Blass also confirmed that the "the top 1/4" portion of the screen will be hard-coded in order to display the company's name. Thus making the Samsung Galaxy S8 as first of its kind in the Galaxy S series.
