In 2013, the 56-year-old star had hinted about getting raped shortly after moving to New York in an interview. While speaking with Stern, Madonna recalled the incident in detail, saying that at that time, she was just 19 and too naïve that she trusted almost everyone.

"I was going to a dance class and the door was locked and I needed money for the pay phone. [A man] gave it to me,"  said the pop star while speaking about the traumatic incident. "He was a very friendly guy. I trusted everybody."

The man invited Madonna to his house, saying that she could make the phone call from there. Once inside, he raped her mercilessly.

"The rest is not worth talking about," said the star. Madonna also revealed that her apartment was robbed multiple times and she was even attacked on the streets. However, despite all the agonies, the legendary singer never reported the rape incident to the police. Madonna summed up that due to the fear of stigma, negative attention and re-traumatization of rape, she never reported the matter to police.

During the same interview, the "Material Girl" hit maker confirmed a long standing rumour that she briefly dated late rapper Tupac Shakur in the late 1990s. The star mentioned the romance while discussing her infamous interview with TV host David Letterman in which she dropped F---  bomb 14 times during the conversation, Toronto Sun reported.

Madonna revealed that she was in a weird mood that day and was under the influence of the gangsta rapper whom she was dating during those days.
