"Thinking Out Loud" crooner Ed Sheeran recently had a concert in the Philippines as part of his Asian leg tour and according to reports, his crew, specifically his body guard, called the fans of the singer "monkeys" when they were taking photos of the star upon his arrival.

Sheeran's entourage, nine of them, were assisted by the Manila International Airport Authority. They caused commotion due to the remark made by the body guard who reportedly wanted to prevent the photographers, journalists, and fans from taking photos of the British singer without any permission.

Sheeran and his crew arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport when the racy remark was stated within earshot of the fans and the photographers in the area.

According to Zeibiz, the specific body guard was called out by the immigration officers, who were in the area, and demanded that he should stop saying his racy remarks or he will be barred from entering the country. Sheeran's crew then apologized saying that it was just a form of expression and did not mean any harm.

Despite the earlier ruckus, Sheeran's concert was sold-out and was held at the Mall of Asia Arena on March 12. Sheeran held other concerts in Asian cities such as Doha, Dubai, Mumbai, Hongkong, Seoul, and Shanghai. After his Philippine concert, he is to continue his tour in Kuala Lumpur and Singapore.

Meanwhile, Sheeran is reportedly part of a Bollywood movie called "Happy New Year 2" as the director for the movie said in a report that the singer agreed to act in the upcoming sequel of the film.

J-14 shared that Sheeran will be making a guest appearance as he recently became friends with Bollywood stars Kunal Kapoor, Naina Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan. The news came as a surprise to many of Sheeran's fans because he reportedly announced in various interview that he is not into acting.
