The latest details and spoilers for "The Flash" movie will feature Central City in the movie and a possible 2019 release date.

It seems that another city from The Flash mythos will also make its appearance in the "DC Extended Universe as Barry Allen/The Flash's (Ezra Millers) hometown of Central City as the British Society of Cinematographers posted a photo on their Facebook page one of the behind-the-scenes images of the "Justice League" movie.

Central City is where Barry Allen grew up and worked his way into the Central City Police Department as a CSI officer. It is also the same city that he was struck by lightning in his lab and became a superhero.

Previous reports hinted that "The Flash" live-action movie could take place in Keystone City due to a criminal file if Slipknot (Adam Beach) from the Argus-Gov files (via ComicBook). Keystone is also the home of Barry's love interest Iris West (Kiersey Clemons) and her nephew Wally, the first Kid Flash and the third person to wear The Flash mantle.

While the Easter egg could simply be a nod to Flash and DC lore, it might also mean the movies will shift Barry from Central to Keystone City in an effort to separate the film from the CW Network "The Flash" TV series. But with Central City part of the DCEU it seems that "The Flash" live-action film might also take plac there.

In other news, "The Flash" live-action film will likely have a new release date possibly replacing its scheduled March 16, 2018 launch.

This due to the fact that Warner Bros. hired a new screenwriter Joby Harold to rewrite the script of "The Flash" movie which was previously written by the former directors Rick Famuyiwa and Seth Grahame-Smith.

This new change is a step back to project will likely increasingly difficult to imagine it coming out before 2019 as the script might hold back the director’s process, which now puts Warner Bros. in a position where production cannot begin until Miller finishes filming "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them 2". At one point, Miller had stated that production was going to begin at the end of 2016, but that has clearly not happened, Variety reported.

It is also rumored that The Flash will face Captain Cold and his sister Golden Glider in the live-action film. Barry will appear in the "Justice League" live-action film as he is recruited by Bruce Wayne/Batman (Ben Affleck) along with Diana Prince/Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Arthur Curry/Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Victor Stone/Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and resurrected Kal-El/Superman (Henry Cavill).

The Flash will appear first in "Justice League" on Nov. 17, 2017, and his solo film will likely end up in a 2019 release date.
