Leipzig has been struggling as of late, suffering all of their three defeats so far in the season in the last six rounds of competitions. Despite the losses, the team has remained in the second spot of the league table, four points behind the defending champions Bayern Munich and seven points clear of third-place squad Eintracht Frankfurt.

In their most recent Bundesliga fixture last Saturday, Die Roten Bullen was nipped by last season's runner-up squad Borussia Dortmund, 0-1, on the road at the Signal Iduna Park, as per Daily Mail Online.

Dortmund forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang netted the lone goal of the match in the 35th minute from a pass by French midfielder Ousmane Dembélé to hand head coach Ralph Hasenhüttl's squad their second loss in their last four games.

Meanwhile, Hamburg has won three of their last six matches to somehow move up in the standings. The team is still in the 16th spot of the 18-team German top flight table, though, one point ahead of 17th-place squad FC Ingolstadt and seven points above cellar-dwellers SV Darmstadt.

Die Rothosen nipped reeling team Bayer Leverkusen, 1-0, at their home ground of Imtech Arena last Friday, Fox Sports reported.

Hamburg defender Kyriakos Papadopoulos, on loan from Bayer, scored the winning goal for head coach Markus Gisdol's side with a header from the center of the box off an assist by teammate Nicolai Müller following a set piece situation.

The win snapped a two-game losing skid for Hamburg.
