After months of keeping mum about the issue, Tom Hiddleston finally opened up about his relationship with Taylor Swift. He revealed the "Hiddleswift" was not fake news and that what they had was "the real deal."

News about their relationship started when photos of them kissing on the Rhode Island beaches surfaced. This came as a surprise for fans, especially since it had just been weeks since Swift broke up with her ex-boyfriend, Calvin Harris.

Since then, Hiddleston was often seen in the public with Swift, traveling, hanging out with some friends, visiting their families and partying. However, the romance ended just as quickly as it started. Rumors about their breakup swirled around the internet and fans were quick to make speculations about what might have possibly happened.

In his recent interview with GQ, Hiddleston talked about their relationship and the story behind his "I Love T.S." shirt. He confirmed that their relationship was real and described Swift as an amazing woman. He said, "Taylor is an amazing woman. She's generous and kind and lovely, and we had the best of time. Of course, it was real."

According to the "Thor" actor, both of them wanted to have a regular relationship but they failed to achieve that because of their status as actors. He said it became impossible for them to continue the relationship because they were always in the limelight.

Talking about the controversial "I Love T.S." shirt, Hiddleston said it was nothing more than a joke. He shared that it was the Fourth of July, a public holiday, they were playing a game with some friends when he accidentally fell and hurt his back. He asked if anyone had a shirt that he could borrow. To his surprise, one of his friends got one with an "I Love T.S." print on it. Hiddleston said the shirt was not as big of a deal as fans made it out to be.

Meanwhile, according to Yahoo, the actor also sported a temporary tattoo of a heart with a "T" in the middle. Since he refused to give any further detail about the tattoo, fans can only speculate if it had anything to do with Swift or not.
