The upcoming final DLC pack for "Dark Souls 3," called "The Ringed City," has been teased. It features a lot of new deadly enemies as well as environments that could certainly challenge even the most veteran players in the game.

In a recent Bandai Namco event attended by Game Spot, a demo build of the final "Dark Souls 3" expansion pack was available for play. The publication was able to play for half an hour, enough for them to get a general impression of what the new DLC will bring.

First, the demo featured a location called "The Dreg Heap," a gray, ruined area first seen in the game's announcement trailer. It features a stunningly dystopian horizon with its collapsed castle towers along with the rare appearances of Londor pilgrims gazing out over its sheer cliffs.

In this area, the first enemies encountered were a couple of summoners that could conjure groups of ashen undead. The pre-generated character came with good equipment, so it was pretty easy unless the summoners were left unchecked.

According to PC Gamer, the boss in the area is twice the size of the character, wielding a scimitar that seemingly indicates its slowness. It is not the case, as the boss can jump twice its height and go down swinging the sword in fluid motions.

The quickness seems to be hampered by its specific tells as well as limited stamina. Overall, the experience is a deviation from the exhausting Mirkwood Knight battles featured in the "Ashes of Ariandel" DLC.

"The Ringed City" DLC has a lot to prove, as it will determine whether or not the game will have a graceful exit. Its overall feel is much closer to the basic "Dark Souls 3" experience compared to "Ashes of Ariandel," and its new environments are a sight to behold.

"Dark Souls 3: The Ringed City" will be released on March 28 for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Here is the announcement trailer for the expansion:
