As each episode brings new mysteries and speculations, the suspense gets even tighter now that Annalise (Viola Davis) is out of the jail. The official synopsis from Spoiler TV of next week's episode titled "It's War" delivers a shocking discovery by Nate (Billy Brown) and Annalise's claim of being framed hence her drive to get up and take down the DA's who snatched her power and self-respect. "They disappeared the young man in order to frame me for murder," says Annalise in the promo teaser.

Previously, episode 12 titled "Go Cry Somewhere Else" surfaced a grieving Laurel (Karla Souza) who burst in emotions as she spoke in remembrance of Wes in his memorial. This breakdown led her to go to the morgue to see the body of her deceased beau with the help of Nate, but found themselves in an enigma as the bag contained another person's body, leading them to the mystery of where Wes' remains are. Thenceforward, Nate confronts A.D.A. Atwood (Milauna Jackson) and A.D.A. Denver (Benito Martinez) who then present a document which was used to move the body, signed by no other than Nate himself.

These events led to a flashback of what transpired in Annalise's house at the night of the tragedy, where a new revelation is brought about. Nate is seen entering the house, looking for Annalise in the rooms of the apartment and later comes across Wes who just entered the house. Being one of those who encountered Wes right before his tragic death and the house fire, Nate sparks speculations among the viewers as to his possible involvement in the murder case.

"At face value, Nate Lahey is as much a suspect as anyone else from Frank (Charlie Weber) to the Mahoneys. It doesn't look good for Lahey at this moment," says Brown when asked by Variety if the viewers should suspect Nate for Wes' murder. He says, moreover, that he does not know at the moment who among the characters, including his own, killed Wes. Brown is also sweeping to the possibility of Nate being framed, whether it be by the DA's office, or whosoever wants to take him down, further explaining that this gives Nate an ulterior motive to figure out who, in fact, killed Wes.

"How to Get Away with Murder" Season 3 episode 13 will be aired on Feb. 16, Thursday, at 10 p.m. EST on ABC Television Network. Watch the promo video below.
