"Jane the Virgin" Season 3 aired a new episode on Monday night, and fans are not happy with how things were shown in the hit The CW series.

In the previous episode, it was revealed that Michael has died after suffering from a heart-related condition. An emotional Jane could not believe it when she received a call for the physician informing her that Michael did not make it out alive.

Towards the end of the episode, a time-jump took place, and Jane has already moved on from Michael's demise. Mateo is also much bigger and more mature, and he is able to speak. However, even though Mateo is already four and a half years old on Monday's emotion, the young boy was perceived to have some behavioral problems.

Jane and Rafael are trying the best they can to make sure that Mateo will be able to grow up as a respectful boy, but they realize that this is a very difficult thing to achieve since he is not cooperating.

Rafael is also out of prison and he is as zen as ever. His ex-wife Petra is also enjoying her time taking her of her toddler twins. Previously, Petra was so worried that her babies did not like her and liked her twin sister more. But now, she is taking care of them with so much ease.

Meanwhile, Rogelio's relationship with Darcy was short-lived. It did not work out, but Rogelio's show took off. Xiomara is still in a relationship with Bruce, which came as a surprise to majority of the viewers since their union never lasted this long.

Fans are not necessarily happy with the time jum featured in "The Jane the Virgin" Season 3 because it seems that the storylines were rushed. Fans wanted to see Jane mourning the death of Michael so that their love for each other could further be established.

But no such thing happened since the creators of "Jane the Virgin" Season 3 seem to have different plans in mind.

"Jane the Virgin" Season 3 airs Mondays at 8 p.m. EST on The CW.
