Fans first met Rene Ramirez in episode 1 of Season 5. Now, the show will shed more light on the mysterious character and explore his background.

The network has released a brief synopsis for "Arrow" Season 5 episode 13. According to the Spoiler TV's description, City Hall will come under a traumatic attack. This incident will reportedly bring back some painful memories for Rene, revealing more about his family.

"Arrow" Season 5 episode 13 will feature flashbacks and reveal what led to a transformation in Rene, who was once a family man leading a simple life. And now he is a superhero named Wild Dog. It is certain that he has a painful past and it will be unveiled this week.

As for Oliver Queen, he will not be donning his Green Arrow costume this week. He decides to deal with the perpetrator of the attack as the mayor of the city and not as Green Arrow. Meanwhile, clashes and conflicts occur in the Arrow bunker.

The latest promo video for "Arrow" Season 5 teases the events of episode 15. It gives a glimpse at how Mayor Queen will decide to deal with the gun-runners. Scroll down to watch the promo online.

In an interview with TV Line, the executive producer Marc Guggenheim revealed that in the upcoming episode Mayor Queen will be dealing with gun-related crimes. Also, he revealed what to expect from "Arrow" Season 5 episode 13.

"...I think you can see that in the second half, it's about guns and gun violence, but it's also about the state of discourse in our country," Guggenheim said.
