Korean tech giant Samsung may have just confirmed Samsung Galaxy S8 recently when it published what leak-hungry mobile enthusiasts believe to be a support page for the smartphone live on the website of Samsung India. The public has been waiting for Samsung to confirm Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus and its smaller version, but the company has not said any word about the release of the device.

If the said page were true, then this would be the first time that the tech company acknowledged the S8 Plus by name. While the new product support page is now already a broken link, those who have noticed it are positive that the page had something to do with the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus.

According to CNET, Samsung might change its plan for the devices by releasing a curved screen and larger Galaxy S8 Plus and a curved screen S8. The said features would be totally different from the features of Galaxy S7 and the S7 Edge, which were straight-sided and curvaceous.

According to Yahoo, the public was quick to speculate that the product number SM-G955FD for which the support page was made was the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus because when the number is typed into the search bar, it gets automatically completed by the drop down menu. For some, this only proves that a Samsung smartphone that has yet to be named is already in the works.

Aside from the support page, a potential S8 Plus logo was also shared recently on Twitter by mobile leaker Evan Blass, following the general design of Samsung phones but removing the straight edges. Since the Galaxy S8 Plus and S8 are believed to have curved screens, the logo was also linked to the highly anticipated handset models.

Previously, Samsung said that the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus would not be unveiled at the upcoming Mobile World Congress. However, rumors claim that it would be out by March 29.
