"Homeland" Season 6 episode 5 will focus on Carrie Mathison's struggle between personal and professional life and President Elizabeth Keane. In "Homeland" Season 6 episode 5, Carrie Mathison, who is now working for a foundation providing aid to Muslims in New York, will deal with new challenges and struggle to maintain work-life balance. The network has released a brief synopsis vaguely teasing a storyline focusing on Carrie. According to the description of "Casus Belli," Carrie's work might be putting her personal life in a problem. "Carrie's work follows her home," reads the synopsis.
In addition, "Homeland" Season 6 episode 5 will see Elizabeth Keane, who was elected as president of the USA, in a difficult position. Things don't look too good for her as she is sidelined. It seems like she will find herself in a situation where she can't use her powers of a president.

It is clear that the Showtime doesn't want to reveal many details from the plot of "Homeland" Season 6 episode 5. Meanwhile, a promo video from "Casus Belli" shows Carrie in a tight spot. The city is said to be in danger as a result of Carrie's actions. The trailer online opens with a phone call warning Carrie about what has happened. Carrie's home is attacked by a furious mob which forces Quinn to open fire at the crowd gathered outside the house.
