"Homeland" Season 6 episode 6 will focus on three storylines involving Carrie's investigation, Saul, and Keane. The network has released a brief synopsis teasing what to expect from the next segment "The Return."

According to the description of "Homeland" Season 6 episode 6 as published on Spoiler TV, Carrie makes and important discovery in her investigation. Amidst all the chaos and tension, the former CIA officer, who is now working for a foundation providing aid to Muslims in USA, will continue to follow the lead and find answers to her questions.

Meanwhile, the show will shed light on Saul's story. In "Homeland" Season 6 episode 6, Saul will meet an old friend. The network continues to keep the details under the wrap and refrains from revealing any major plot points.

In addition, the show will shed light on president-elect Elizabeth Keane. Finally, Keane will take a stand and make her opinion verbal.

In an interview with "CBS This Morning: Saturday's" co-host Alex Wagner, Claire Danes (Carrie Mathison), talked about Carrie's new job and exit from CIA.

"She was pretty damaged by what was asked of her - in her work as an officer and grew to be kind of calloused and cynical and realized that she needed to take a different tack. And so she's done that," Danes said as quoted by cbsnews.com.
