‘Bates Motel’ Season 5, episode 2 promo, spoilers: What happens in ‘The Convergence of the Twain’?

In the second installment of the final season of "Bates Motel," Norman's date goes awry. The promo for "Bates Motel" Season 5, episode 2 shows what is in store in the episode entitled "The Convergence of the Twain."

"Norman's date goes awry; Romero's frustrations boil over; and Chick gives Norman a gift," reads the synopsis.

Meanwhile, the season opener entitled "Dark Paradise," pick things up after the fourth season finale which saw Norman killing Norma. To be precise, "Bates Motel" Season 5, episode 1 starts off two years after Season 4 finale's events.

According to Spoiler TV, things will be different for the lead characters of the show.

In "Dark Paradise," a new client comes in the motel and he doesn't get along with Norman. Also, fans get to see Norma's corpse in the final season opener. A new female character, Madeleine Loomis, is introduced in "Bates Motel" Season 5, episode 1 and she looks a lot like Norma.

Meanwhile, there is a scene which has direct reference to the movie and Dylan makes a shocking revelation about Norman. Also, Norman is keeping a journal to record his blackouts and he is having more of the blackouts in this season.

Rihanna will not be shown in the first episode of this season, but she is coming soon.
