"I was able to successfully finish the first act of my life because of you," The Kpop Herald quoted Lee as saying before a predominantly Korean crowd. "You are no longer like others (to me), you are rather like parts of my family and life."

The model-turned-actor spiced up the meet-and-greet events by showing different sides of him that has not been known to many. He also performed several tracks from his upcoming international album "Always by LEE MIN-HO." Photos from the event were widely circulated on Facebook.

Lee has been in the industry for 14 years and his journey from boy-next-door to one of the most recognizable personalities in the country is one that is brimming with intriguing subplots. In a previous interview with Sina News of China, as cited by Drama Fever, the "Boys Over Flowers" actor looks back to his humble beginnings and talks about his plans for the future.

"Even if I feel tired, I will not give up so that I won't have any regrets in the future," Lee said. "I will work hard regardless of what I do so that I won't regret it later."

Currently, Lee is busy completing different promotions and events following the successful run of the SBS fantasy drama "The Legend of the Blue Sea." He will be enlisting in the military in late March or early April.

Due to the injuries he sustained in a serious car accident in 2006, Lee was deemed unfit for combat duties conducted by the Military Manpower Administration (MMA). Hence, he will be assigned to a non-combat position assisting government employees.
