Former three-time UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre is officially back and he cannot wait to get back inside the Octagon. His next fight is going to be scheduled later this year and it could be against Michael Bisping or Conor McGregor.

It was announced last Friday that the UFC and GSP have signed a new deal after a three-year hiatus by the former champion, per Lance Pugmire of the Los Angeles Times. "Rush" is expected to make his return later this year and a superfight might be on the way.

GSP's coach Firas Zahabi wants a superfight against the featherweight champion or the middleweight champion. He told Ariel Helwani of The MMA Hour that GSP is ready to drop weight to fight McGregor or go higher for a showdown with Bisping.

"My ideal scenario, I don't know if it's still up for grabs, but I was really happy when there was a buzzing of Bisping or McGregor. I thought those two would be two epic fights. One, he would go a little lower. One, he would go a little higher. But those are really, really intriguing fights," Zahabi said.

McGregor is currently on his own hiatus due to the birth of his first child on May. He's also busy promoting the fantasy boxing match between him and Floyd Mayweather Jr. that is not going to happen.

On the other hand, Bisping is ready for GSP since they both agreed to fight each other late last year. However, the fight never happened because GSP can't reach a deal with UFC. But now that he's officially back, a GSP vs. Bisping fight is possible later this year.

Zahabi also mentioned Tyron Woodley and Stephen Thompson as possible next opponents for GSP. However, a third fight is expected between the two stars whatever the outcome of their match at UFC 209 is.

Also, Zahabi has a history with both Woodley and Thompson as they both trained with him at the Tristar Gym in Montreal, Canada. Nevertheless, one thing is for sure and that is GSP is back in the UFC. He is considered by many as the greatest MMA fighter of all time.
