Bayern Munich has been out of form in the past few rounds with two winless performances in their last three matches. The team is still on top of the German top flight standings, though, and are on track to win their fifth consecutive Bundesliga title with 13 games to go in their campaign this season.

In their most recent fixture, the Bavarians were held to a 1-1 draw by capital city club Hertha Berlin on the road at the Olympiastadion last Saturday, as per BBC Sport.

Hertha Berlin captain Vedad Ibisevic scored the first goal of the match in the 21st minute with a right-footed shot from the left side of the six-yard box off a cross by Marvin Plattenhardt following a set piece situation.

It looked like a lost game for Bayern as time slowly ran out, but Polish striker Robert Lewandowski, who came off the bench in the 61st minute, netted the equalizer in injury time to salvage the draw and a share of a point in the standings.

Meanwhile, Hamburg snapped a two-game winning run also last Saturday with a 2-2 draw against newly-promoted side SC Freiburg at their home ground of Imtech Arena, Fox Sports Asia reported.

Aaron Hunt opened the scoring for head coach Markus Gisdol's side in the 15th minute but it was quickly equalized by Freiburg's Maximilian Philipp eight minutes later.

Hamburg forward Michael Gregoritsch then gave the lead back to the hosts on the 57th before it was leveled again by Italian midfielder Vincenzo Grifo in the 72nd.
