George Clooney and his wife Amal Clooney are expecting twins, and one of the actor's closest friends, Matt Damon, gave a bit of an inside scoop on what's up with the soon-to-be-parents. Appearing on "The Ellen Show," Damon talked about how Clooney is reacting to fatherhood.

"The Great Wall" star revealed that among their group of friends, Clooney is just starting his own Brady Bunch. Damon already has four children, one of whom is going to college soon. Clooney, on the other hand, is just getting started.

"It's really funny. He's got this group of really wonderful friends. For 30 years they've been out here together and really great group of guys. And all of those guys, their kids are either in college or on their way and now George is getting started, so it's pretty funny. I think they're having a good time with him," Damon said.

Damon added that he doesn't know how to handle twins so he doesn't have much to advice Clooney on that matter. However, he related to the fact that taking care of children can be a huge task. "We'll see what happens to him," Damon commented.

Damon has openly expressed his support for George and Amal's pregnancy. In a previous interview, he stated that he "almost started crying" when George told him that Amal was already eight weeks pregnant.

Meanwhile, the Clooneys are excitedly preparing to welcome their twins. Both George and Amal are planning to tone down their usually-packed schedules and avoid going to areas where there could be potential danger.

"I will not go to South Sudan anymore and in the Congo, Amal will no longer go to Iraq and she will avoid places where she knows she is not welcome," Clooney said in Paris Match, as quoted by E! News.

The actor said that he and Amal still do not know if they're having a boy or a girl, and would prefer not to know until the twins come out. The Clooneys are currently living in three countries: Italy, England and the US. When asked where they will raise their kids, George said they will likely make the decision to settle when they children are already of school-age.
