Amidst the buzz surrounding Daniel Craig's silence about whether or not he will return to "James Bond," one of his co-stars have given the slightest glimmer of positivity. "Moonlight" star Naomi Harris, who co-starred with Craig in "Specter" and "Skyfall," recently revealed that there is a good chance the actor would reprise the coveted role in the 25th "James Bond" movie.

Reports previously circulated that MGM Studios is panicking as Craig has been "off grid" for a year and elusive of the film. According to The Daily Mail, there has been no development as to discussions between "James Bond" execs and Craig, although MGM has inquired about the actor's filming availability for 2017. Moreover, the studio is reportedly willing to shell out a large sum to accommodate Craig. It was even rumored that Sony Pictures was willing to offer as much as $150 million to Craig.

Harris, who played Eve Moneypenny in the last two "Bond" movies, hinted that Craig is still pretty much attached to the franchise. "I really don't think that they've moved on from Daniel," VOGUE UK quoted Harris as saying. "I think there's a very good chance that Daniel will come back."

The 40-year-old Academy Award nominee explained that both "Spectre" and "Skylfall" have been the "highest-grossing 'Bond' movies of all time," which shows how much people love him as Bond and desperately want him to come back.

Accompanying reports of Craig's rumored retirement as Agent 007 are listings of potential successors, a tight race that includes heavy-hitters Idris Elba, Tom Hardy, Tom Hiddleston and Michael Fassbender. However, Harris cautioned that it's too early to think of anyone to replace Craig, and that if she were to make a bet her money would still be on Craig.

Craig's latest statement about the "James Bond" movies came out during New York Festival's Beyond Bond panel. During the event, Craig claimed that being Bond is "the best job in the world" and he would miss it terribly if he were to stop doing it. He added that if he can "keep getting a kick" out of making the movie, he will do it again.
