It has been more than five years since the last "Twilight" film but fans still wish for another sequel starring Kirsten Stewart and Robert Pattinson. Their fans fancy a film that will reunite the two actors as they are aware that it is not likely for them to be romantically involved to each other again.

When Stewart appeared on "Saturday Night Live," she called herself "so gay." In a recent interview with Sunday Times, she talked about her sexuality and her relationship with Pattinson.

Stewart told the publication that she was not hiding anything. She explained that she did not talk about her first relationships that went public because she wanted things that are hers to be hers.

What Stewart hated was seeing the details of her life being turned into a commodity and peddled around the world. But considering the fact that she had many eyes on her, she said she suddenly realized that her private life affects not only herself but also a lot of people. For her, this is an opportunity to make even one other person feel good about himself or herself by surrendering a bit of what was hers.

In another interview with Indie Wire, Stewart pointed out that in the digital age, people feel entitled to communication. She explained that "mourning has probably changed because we're so in each other's faces no matter where we are geographically."

In Stewart's next film "Lizzie," the actress will play Bridget Sullivan. Written by Bryce Kass and directed by Craig William Macneill, the biographical crime drama is based on the  infamous  murders of the Borden family in 1892.

Fans of Stewart can catch her on March 10, Friday, when "Personal Shopper" hits theaters. Written and directed by Olivier Assayas, the mystery thriller film also stars Lars Eidinger, Sigrid Bouaziz, Anders Danielsen Len, Ty Olwin, Benjamin Biolay and Pascal Rambert, among others.

It appears that a film reunion of Stewart and Pattinson is not likely, and if it is, it is not happening in 2017. Fans should start convincing themselves that "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2," which was released in 2012, is the last film that starred Stewart and Pattinson together.

As for Pattinson, he is set to star in at least three films in 2017, namely "Good Time," "Damsel" and "The Trap."  Here is a video of Stewart being asked if she is reuniting with Pattinson for a new "Twilight" film:
