Scott Disick has apparently realized that he has to seek help to free himself from the addiction issues. A regular of reality TV show "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" has checked into the Rythmia Life Advancement Centre in Costa Rica after a wild weekend in Atlantic City.
"I realize my issues are bigger than me and I'm ready to truly remedy this struggle I continue to battle," said the 32-year-old long-time partner of Kourtney Kardashian in an official statement released from the centre, TMZ reported.
Last weekend, Disick reportedly was on a spree with tequila shots in Atlantic City. Afterwards, the KUWTK regular partied all night till 8:00 am and was seen stumbling around in the hotel lobby. The situation reportedly became so bad that he finally flew to the rehab centre directly from his party place.
Disick's lifestyle is also affecting his family life as his wild parties and addiction problems are not approved by other family members. On multiple occasions, Kourtney as well as Kim Kardashian and her rapper husband Kanye West has raised serious objections against Disick's lifestyle.
Disick's excessive drinking is specially a major problem. Last year, the reality TV star had to be hospitalized due to alcohol poisoning. In November, Disick had again sought medical help to fight against alcohol and drug related issues. His visits to the rehab centre were documented in the spin-off show "Kourtney And Khloe Take The Hamptons." Although Disick cut short his stay at the rehab, he did admit that the brief stay has "opened his eyes," E! News reported.
But the reality star was soon back to his wild self. During his recent assignment of public appearance in 10 cities for a U.K. club, the star was spotted guzzling down wine directly from the bottle in Manchester and drinking vodka heavily in London.
