Blinks and all fans of BLACKPINK's band member Lisa were eagerly awaiting to catch the first glimpse of the K-pop star as she arrived in France.

After trending "LALISA EN FRANCE" on the internet yesterday, and creating a frenzy among fans and reporters alike during her departure from Seoul's Incheon International Airport, Lisa was all set to make her appearance in France for the 2021 Paris Fashion Week.

The singer, however, was not seen anywhere after leaving South Korea. Fans turned their queries to BVLGARI CEO Jean-Christophe Babin on October 5 following Lisa's no-show. They were in for a massive disappointment when Babin announced on his Instagram that the K-pop star will not be participating in their events this year.

The CEO explained that though Lisa was in Europe, due to Covid, her agency YG Entertainment preferred her not to participate in shows or events. He also said this was the reason why BVLGARI could not shoot the singer together with other brand ambassadors such as Zendaya, Lily Alridge, and Vittoria Ceretti for Brand Campaign 2021/2022. He stated that neither could the brand run a major event yet together with the singer.

"But YES we will do it very soon as we are great friends and are striving to really activate the collaboration at 360 degrees. I hope it answers @lalalalisa_m fans so many inquiries and questions I receive," Babin added on the Instagram caption.

Lisa, who arrived in France on October 4, was speculated to travel to the South of France for a private show by Celine, for whom she is a global ambassador.

There are no individual BVLGARI shows at the Paris Fashion week as it is a jewelry brand, However, the CEO did mention that Lisa was supposed to attend the show by ETAM, a french lingerie brand that collaborated with BVLGARI.

Many fans became angry and turned their wrath on YG Entertainment after hearing the news of Lisa's absence from BVLGARI's events and fashion photoshoots. Lisa's supporters worldwide feel that BLACKPINK's agency has been limiting the singer's activities and discriminating against her, and this is not the first time.

The fans feel the treatment of Lisa by YG Entertainment is unequal in comparison to the other three BLACKPINK members Jisoo, Jennie, and Rose. All of them attended events and shows at the 2021 Paris Fashion Week as global ambassadors of various French luxury fashion houses, garnering massive attention with their appearances and breaking the internet with hashtag trends.
