Just yesterday, the Bangtan Boys swept the 2021 American Music Awards by winning in three categories, including bagging the trophy for the night's biggest award "Artist of the Year". The win is also ground-breaking as it was the first time ever that an Asian act grabbed this award.

On returning to the hotel after the award show, the Bangtan Boys propped up on Naver VLive for a chat session and mukbang with the ARMY. The live stream video soon turned funny and BTS-member RM also revealed a huge spoiler during the broadcast.

The singer said that a video related to the Grammy's was already out while talking about the upcoming award show. In reality, though the live stream for the Grammy nomination is scheduled for November 23. Fans are assuming that the video RM spoke about could be identical to one that will be officially broadcast during the live stream.

BTS had been nominated for the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance award at last year's Grammy, however, they lost the award to Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande.

Meanwhile, the ARMY has reportedly found out that BTS could be in the running for the Grammy categories of "Song of the Year" and "Record of the Year". The group has submitted "Permission to Dance" for the Best Music Video category, while their last album "BE" might compete in the "Engineered Non-Classical, Best Pop Vocal Album, and Album of the Year nominations. It is all speculation now, but the fans are rooting that the boys earn nominations for all their submissions.

Incidentally, the Recording Academy ditched the anonymous selection committees earlier this year. It now allows more than 11,000 voters to select nominees in certain categories, but only those with the full membership are eligible to choose nominees for top honors such as "Song of the Year" and "Album of the Year". The change comes after the artist The Weeknd said that the Grammys were corrupt after being shut out of last year's ceremony despite giving the biggest song of the year.
