Seth Rogen's "The Interview" co-actor James Franco recently graced the cover of FourTwoNine magazine and aside from being sexy for the spread, he talked about his sexuality as a lot of people are questioning if he is gay or straight.

The 36-year-old finally shed light on the issue and he noted that he is both gay and straight at the same time as he is represented by these two genders in terms of his art and his life. Franco shares that he asked himself once if he is gay or anything like that and he explains that he likes to think he is gay in his art but he is straight in his life.

In an excerpt from Just Jared, Franco said he is also gay in his life except when it comes to having an intercourse as he pointed out that in that aspect, he is very straight. He added that it depends on how people define the word gay and noted that in his twenties and early thirties, people defined homosexuality by how one acted and not who one sleeps with.

He also shared that he does not care about what people think about his sexuality because it is none of their business. Franco added that he does not choose to identify his public persona.

According to Huffington Post, Franco has been questioned about his sexuality ever since he was in high school and that even if he became a celebrity, the issue stuck with his career especially because he took on homoerotic roles and the director behind gay-related movies.

He also added that he likes that people think he is gay because people find it difficult to define him and that people guess all the time when asked about Franco. He pointed out that he does not want to confuse people but as long as they have no idea what is going on with his life, he gets to play.

Franco is also very appealing to the gay community and he noted that he is voting for same-sex marriage because it means that he is a figure who can show that the straight community that they have to open their minds to what is happening now and show the gay community should not be limited to their own kind only as being part of the straight community would also benefit them beautifully.
