Wes Bentley has officially joined the “American Horror Story” series franchise as a regular cast member. Co-creator Ryan Murphy was the one who made the announcement on Twitter after it was revealed at Paleyfest that Cheyenne Jackson and Matthew Bomer will be featured in “American Horror Story: Hotel.”

“Thrilled to announce Wes Bentley will be a series regular on ‘AHS: Hotel,’” Murphy wrote.

Bentley had first appeared on the show as Edward Mordrake, a guest character based on the tale of an English nobleman in the 19th century who had a second face at the back of his head, ordering him to do evil deeds.

No details have been provided regarding Bentley’s role. He has not said anything after Murphy made the announcement, either. Thankfully, however, Bomer was more open about his upcoming role as a lead character alongside Lady Gaga.

Bomer had revealed that he loved working with Murphy, according to Inquisitr. “It was like arriving at this community and it felt like this world where there were no boundaries,” he said.

“I had the time of my life and I told Ryan that,” the “Magic Mike XXL” actor added. “He said, ‘Great. Do you want to come work next season?’”

The actor said that “H***, yes!” was the only response he could give.

Sadly, Jessica Lange, who was featured in all of the previous “AHS” seasons that have already aired, had already confirmed that she will no longer be part of the hit FX horror show. She said at the recent Paleyfest that she was “done” with the show, according to The Indian Express.

“We’ve had a great run here,” Lange said.
