Katy Perry and John Mayer are reportedly off again just after two months of being in a relationship amid speculations that the on-again-off-again couple is expecting.
Radar Online reported that multiple sources already confirmed the split and that there was no bad blood between them but it was actually the conflict due to their busy schedules. The sources noted that they first rekindled their relationship during her Prismatic World Tour and the pair believed that the second time they give their relationship a try it would already last.
The source adds that 30-year-old pop singer Perry is really busy with her career and Mayer cannot handle that kind of pressure and not having the needed attention from his girlfriend. Mayer also has trust issues regarding the fact that Perry is always on tour or has concerts in different parts of the world. The two reportedly had an amicable decision to just take a break first while they cannot both settle in just one area.
Another report suggests that Mayer is jealous of the success of Perry and it's one thing that Perry does not want to hear about since she said in interviews before that one of her biggest problems in a relationship is when her counterpart does not feel happy for her success.
The 37-year-old singer does not have anything major going on in his career and it has affected their relationship a lot. Also, witnesses are claiming that Perry is thinking that she is too good for Mayer and that she was recently seen with Mumford and Sons banjoist Winston Marshall over the weekend.
According to Daily Mail, Mayer and Perry started dating back in 2012 following Perry's break-up with her husband Russell Brand. However, they called it quits last February because she reportedly caught Mayer cheating. She then had a relationship with DJ Diplo.
