Rap mogul Suge Knight  collapsed in a courtroom on  Friday. The incident happened shortly after a judge set his bail at $25 million in the pending murder case.

"He came through the door, he barely got to the table and he collapsed, literally head-first," said Knight's lawyer Matthew Fletcher. "Not one of these Maury Povich falls. Head-first down to the ground, that's it, that's where he lay."

Knight was walking back to the defense table, after which he collapsed and hit the ground. Knight appeared motionless as tthe judge cleared the courtroom and paramedics were seen rushing inside to help the rapper, The Guardian reported.

Earlier, Fletcher had asked the judge to reconvene the hearing so as to issue an order that Knight should be allowed to have his medication. Fletcher had mentioned that his client hadn't received any medication since Thursday. Knight is suffering from diabetes and has a blood clot.

"He's being treated worse than Charles Manson," argued Fletcher. The lawyer also claimed that his client is being kept in solitary confinement without hot water or a blanket, which is turn has worsen his medical situation.

Knight's collapse happened after his lawyer's claimed that a $25 million bail is both "absurd" and "ludicrous" and requested for a more reasonable bail of $2million. Knight is accused of running down and killing a local businessman,  Terry Carter, with his truck in a parking lot on Jan 29 and injuring a former gang member Cle "Bone" Sloan. Judge Ronald S Coen who set the bail, also mentioned the fact that Knight has a past criminal record and was out on bail in robbery case.

Knight has pleaded not guilty to murder, attempted murder and hit-and-run charges. Carter's daughter, Crystal Carter, was seated in the courtroom and slammed the rapper for enacting his illness to get some relief. "He's an actor," said Crystal angrily, New York Daily News reported.
