It is time to say goodbye to the embarrassing selfie stick. Especially made for selfie addicts, Podo not only makes taking selfies easier but also makes the photos look better.

In certain instances, some people want to take a selfie but are embarrassed to do so with a selfie stick. The perfect solution for this is Podo.

Portable and colorful, Podo is a wireless 8 megapixel camera that selfie addicts can stick onto cement, glass, wood or any surface. Setting it up is also very simple.

With selfie sticks, taking a photo is restricted by the length of the arm. But with Podo, selfie addicts can easily set up group pictures from a distance. This means that taking a selfie allows more creative concepts without having to be restricted by flexibility.

Since it stays in place, Podo gives selfie addicts much time to take photos. It also comes with a re-stickable pad that is very secure thanks to its strong magnet. The pad is re-washable, too.

The selfie shot can easily be previewed on screen because Podo connects to the smartphone via Bluetooth before taking a photo. Aside from taking photos, it can also take videos and time-lapse footage including live previews.

Selfie addicts can also take regular images of a social gathering or party with Podo's automatic setting and let the app splice everything together later on.

Currently, the Podo app is available via a Kickstarter campaign in a choice of Red or Blue for $89 or $169 for two.

The Podo app project will run until April 21 but it has already reached its goal, according to Paste Magazine.
