Derrick Rose's return to practice after his operation on a tear in his medial meniscus in his right knee on Feb. 27.

According to International Business Times, the speculated third comeback from a knee injury seems to be fitting since the much anticipated NBA playoffs is just around the bend and the initial projection of four to six weeks rehabilitation in on target. Chicago Bulls' head coach Tom Thibodeau said that everything is going as planned but admitted that Rose still has ways to go but his progress is phenomenal.

However, Thibodeau is very choosy and careful in his words with regard to the former league MVP's return, he said that he does not know yet and they are still evaluating things but he also admitted that Rose seems to be pretty close to the return.

Also, according to Sports World Report, Bulls has missed 9 players, which includes Rose, due to injury this season; however, regardless of the organization's slim line up, they are currently holding a 43-29 win-lose card and went as high as No. 2 in the East. Currently, they slipped down at no. 4 but is only 3 games behind the East's second seeded powerhouse team Cleveland Cavaliers.

Chicago Bulls Forward and Rose's long time teammate Taj Gibson agreed that Rose will be a big contribution, if he will indeed suit up to play, once the world's best basketball league starts in April.
