In "Terminator: Genisys," Arnold Schwarzenegger will be joining Emilia Clarke (Sarah Connor) and Jai Courtney (Kule Reese). Chatting with journalists in a roundtable interview conducted on the set via Slash Film, the actor revealed that the sole mission of this Terminator is to protect Sarah Connor. Schwarzenegger says that the character is "basically the same Terminator," who has the power to "destroy anything" that prevents him from keeping Sarah safe.

Elaborating on the plot points, Schwarzenegger disclosed that the movie is set in the timeline wherein the world is close to its end as the machines are gaining control. Fans can expect to see another impressive action sequence in "Terminator: Genisys."

Talking about the action scenes, Schwarzenegger said that they are aware that they have to outperform "Terminator 2's" epic action sequence. "The idea is to come out with a movie with a big bang and to really entertain audiences all around the world," the actor added.

Besides action sequences, what else can be expected from the movie? According to Schwarzenegger, "Terminator: Genisys" will feature some humorous scenes.  In the rest of the interview, the actor talked about his experience of doing Terminator movies.

In another interview with Empire, Schwarzenegger spilled out more details about his aged T-800. The story has undergone changes, the actor reveals. As for his character, he is a "combination of the characters" seen before as per the 67-year-old star. He describes it as "powerful" and "potentially evil kind of machine" that has the ability to cause destruction if he senses danger for himself or "for the victory against the machines."

Besides Schwarzenegger's T-800, "Terminator: Genisys" will also feature Lee Byung-hun's T-1000. Matt Smith, J.K. Simmons, Jason Clarke, Courtney B. Vance, will also appear, among others.
